Due to some hidden changes in the prior release of PHP low-level API, it is necessary to use updated versions of Magic SEO URL for phpBB 1.0.06 and Magic SEO URL for osCommerce 1.0.06 in case you are going to, or are expecting an upgrade to PHP 5.2.1 on your web server.
There were no updated versions resolving any malfunction yet, so please pay attention to this announcement. We are sorry for any inconveniences - this issue has been caused by changes made by PHP development team in connection with incomplete documentation of PHP.

osCommerce and Register Globals Off
October 29, 2006We have seen that there is still no quick and simple way how to make osCommerce run with Register Globals Off, so we wrote a very easy MOD, which allows you to run osCommerce on any PHP powered server with disabled Register Globals including PHP4 and PHP5. This MOD also works with register_globals = On. If your provider changes the configuration of the web server prior to your knowledge, your osCommerce powered shopping cart remains untouched.
