It allows you to run Magic SEO URL and your web site (e-shop) much faster and allows you to run PHP files encoded by Zend Guard.

Are there any special settings needed for installing Zend Optimizer to make sure Magic SEO URL will work? Will I need to change any of the default settings?

There are no special settings needed. The default settings should suffice.

Will Magic SEO URL still work after enabling "Force Cookie Use" in osCommerce and ZenCart administration?

Yes, it will work perfectly (without osCsid/zenid usage).

Is it possible to enable Magic SEO URL for 2 different domains/URIs (one for HTTP traffic and one for HTTPS traffic)?

Yes, it is.

Why is a number included after each category name, product name or thread in URI?

It allows you to make well-structured URI for web crawlers as well as allows for the deletion of the last "directory" or "file" by the customer/visitor. Additionally, it allows the visitor to continue their browsing without reaching a HTTP 404/Not Found error page.
For example, in the case of Magic SEO URL for ZenCart, when a customer deletes the last category in the following URI: http://www.magic-seo-url.com/demo/zencart/hardware-1/graphics-cards-4/ the new URI will be http://www.magic-seo-url.com/demo/zencart/hardware-1/ and everything works seamlessly.
URIs with only one number looked better, but they lacked this great feature.

Will the old links that were using mod_rewrite be redirected by Magic SEO URL?

Yes. Just add old Rewrite Rules to generated .htaccess file and Magic SEO URL will do this for you.

We will do our utmost to find a solution. Often the problem is caused by a small installation mistake that is easy to solve, and is not the fault of the web host. If your provider doesn’t support MSU, we’ll issue you a full refund.
